THE BRIEF

Project:
Everyday elements.
Objective:
To design a collection of illustrative posters exploring the universal themes that bring people together including food, music, sport, and drinks. The project aimed to celebrate everyday moments of connection while also serving as a creative exercise in developing and refining a new illustrative style.

THE CONCEPT

The central idea behind the series is simple, joy is often found everyday all around us. Whether through a shared meal, a favorite song, a match watched together, or drinks among friends, these small moments create lasting memories and foster human connection. Each poster in the series captures one of these themes, treated as an emblem of shared experience and community.

This project also served as a space for creative experimentation. A new illustrative style was developed specifically for the series, one that balanced playful energy with refined execution. The intention was to push beyond familiar visual approaches and explore new ways of conveying atmosphere, movement, and emotion through line, form, and color.

THE EXECUTION

A fresh illustrative style was introduced, characterized by fluid line work, dynamic shapes, and a graphic yet organic feel. The approach was developed through repeated sketching and digital refinement, allowing for a balance between simplicity and structure.

Each poster employs a bold but limited color palette, creating visual harmony across the series while allowing individual themes to shine. The use of flat color and intentional contrast enhances the playful, energetic tone.

Each layout was designed to feel active and immersive, drawing viewers into the scene and capturing the vibrancy of each shared experience. While each poster explores a different theme, the series is unified through stylistic consistency, tone, and a shared sense of movement and warmth.

The posters are presented as a modular collection, allowing for individual appreciation or as a larger visual narrative.
