THE BRIEF
Easter Egg Workshop Promo Shoot
Objective: To visually promote an Easter egg decorating workshop by capturing the essence of the experience by creating beautiful, organic looking images that will reflect the handmade and sustainable nature of the event. The imagery is to be used as posters and across digital platforms including social media, with the aim of driving engagement and sign ups.
THE CONCEPT
The creative direction focused on a soft, organic aesthetic that reflects the spirit of the workshop, calm, tactile, and rooted in nature. A collaboration with a photographer brought this vision to life through carefully styled scenes featuring natural textures, pastel tones, and floral elements.
The eggs, decorated using an imprinting technique with freshly picked flowers and plants, were dyed using homemade natural dyes made from onion skins and red cabbage. The concept emphasized sustainability and the beauty of handmade processes, highlighting not only the final results but also the materials, tools, and techniques used during the workshop.
THE EXECUTION
We used neutral backgrounds, textured surfaces, and seasonal flowers to create a clean, earthy visual composition. The overall tone was soft and minimal, allowing the natural materials and finished, designed eggs to take center stage. The shoot documented both the finished eggs and the creative process, capturing tools, dye materials, and in progress shots to give a well rounded view of the workshop experience.
Selected image featured light text overlays to promote the upcoming event, designed to feel cohesive with the visual style while communicating essential workshop details. The rest of the final images were optimized for use across digital platforms. The content served both to promote the event and to inspire audiences toward more mindful, environmentally friendly creative practices.
