THE BRIEF

Client/Brand: Joyful Pour, Coffee Shop
Objective: To extend the coffee shop’s mission of fostering human connection by launching a physical magazine that
deepens the connection between the shop and its community.

THE CONCEPT

Joyful Pour was born from a desire to create a space where people come together, slow down, and share meaningful moments over a great cup of coffee. The brand name itself symbolizes happiness being poured into every cup, building bridges between people and community.

The Joyful Pour Magazine is a natural extension of this, It acts as a physical manifestation of the shop’s values, offering a space for storytelling, local voices, art, and shared experiences. In a world increasingly dominated by digital interactions, the magazine becomes a tool for reclaiming tangible, personal, and thoughtful communication.

THE EXECUTION

A printed, thoughtfully designed magazine available in store and through select partners. It Features customer stories, barista spotlights, local artist contributions, coffee brewing tips, the menu and community events. Warm, inviting, minimalist aesthetic with rich textures, typography and photography that mirrors the in store experience.

The magazine can be offered with purchases, available on coffee tables in store, and distributed through local community spaces. Calls to action for customer submissions, interviews, and collaborations, ensuring the magazine is shaped by the community it serves.

Coffee has always been more than just a drink—it’s a bridge between people, a moment of pause, and a ritual that brings comfort and joy.
