THE BRIEF

Client/Brand: Joyful Pour, Coffee Shop
Objective: To extend the coffee shop’s mission of fostering human connection by launching a physical magazine that
deepens the connection between the shop and its community.

THE CONCEPT

Joyful Pour was created as a space for people to slow down and connect over a cup of coffee. The Joyful Pour Magazine continues this vision, a tangible expression of the brand’s values, featuring local stories, art, and shared experiences. In an increasingly digital world, it offers a personal, tactile way to communicate and connect.

THE EXECUTION

A printed, thoughtfully designed magazine available in-store and through select partners. Content includes customer stories, barista features, local art, brewing tips, menus, and community events all of which are created to suit a minimalist aesthetic reflecting the in store experience. Distributed with purchases, in store tables, and local venues, with open calls for community submissions and collaborations to keep it authentically people driven.

Coffee has always been more than just a drink, it’s a bridge between people, a moment of pause, and a ritual that brings comfort and joy.
